Civil, Electrical, and Structural Engineering for a parking lot expansion for the Fresno Ironworkers Training Facility in Fresno, California. Site consists of 55 parking spaces with four accessible spaces, six clean air spaces, and design included infrastructure for future electric vehicle charging stations. Civil design included specifying and reviewing survey, site grading and drainage, pavement, parking space layout, curb, trenching, foundation locations, fencing, and permitting support. Structural design included training structure foundations, light pole foundations, and above ground conduit and equipment supports into building for lighting circuit. There were multiple structures designed/installed to allow iron workers to attach safety harnesses to and work from while learning their trade.
Electrical design included cable, conduit, and pull boxes for parking lot lighting and infrastructure for future electrical vehicle charging stations. Performed lighting study to ensure illumination of parking lot met dark skies criteria and all code requirements for safety of personnel. Provided support during construction as needed.
Design drawings include; site plan, demolition, details, notes, grading, drainage, foundation location, foundation details, anchor bolts, structures, structural details, fence, conduits, lighting, and equipment data sheets. Provided as-built drawings upon project completion.
